Color Harmony Illustrations

This project began in high school when the students were given a project to choose someone from the faculty from the yearbook images and illustrate that person. The illustrations would be sent to the principle to review and choose which ones would be featured in the yearbook. I choose the most interesting faculty member I could find. She had the “I don’t care about this face” along with an elegant and intricate floral patterned shirt. She was perfect. Unfortunately, my illustration of the faculty member was too… let’s say beautiful, to be sent to the principal for review. It wasn’t until college that I colored her and then I decided to fill in the colors with all different color harmonies. My favorite is the monochromatic colored one.
